This outdoor easel features a Wet Panel Carrier, ensuring your wet paintings are transported safely. It's compatible with standard 16x12” (41x31cm), 12x8”, and 12x9” watercolor blocks, as well as any block with a 12” side and up to a 16” other side. Additionally, it accommodates loose papers up to 12x16”, which can be secured with tape to the included backing board. The set also includes a Pleinly 8x12” sketchbook that fits perfectly when opened to 16x12” carrier frame. The carrier bag is designed for convenience, equipped with a handle, shoulder strap, five loops, and a carabiner for easy attachment to your backpack. It has lots of space and big pocket for your papers and accessories.
This portable easel includes three quick-release plates for easy and secure attachment to the provided tripod. Two tripod connection placements are designed for both left- and right-handed artists and allows easel board to be connected in two different ways: position your brushes, water and palette nearby with your painting or drawing further away or keep your painting or drawing close with supplies positioned farther back. The Plein Air Easel Set includes 2 different types of watercolor palettes; one can be attached to the easel board and the other can be in your hand or in some cases you can attach both palettes to the easel board with clips if you prefer. (See pictures and video). You can mix for example dark values in metal palette and light values in plastic palette. The metal tin palette has room for 14 full pans but includes 14 full and 25 half pans so you can decide best combination! You can add pigment also from the tubes to 18 plastic watercolor palette wells.
Strong tripod is Included to this all included plein air painting set. Pleinly T-5 Tripod is easy to carry but super strong. You can attach the easel board on it and paint in sitting and standing positions. It has easy to use flip locks in the legs. (4 flip locks / leg). Weight is about 1.2kg / 2.6lbs. The folded height is about 19". Max height is 68". It can be used also with DSLR cameras and smartphones. It has a smartphone adapter and Bluetooth remote control for Android / iPhone. So, it is multi-purpose and really strong heavy duty tripod which can be used to take photos and videos with up to 6 lbs camera or with smartphone!
Included Pleinly 8x12" Watercolor sketchbook has thick 140lbs/ 300gsm 100% cotton paper. It is designed so that it can be carried with 12x16" wet panel carrier after you make painting outdoors, so you can easily carry wet painting back home or move to next painting location. It has hot pressed and fine textured paper. It gives you ability to use wet on wet technique without any warping or use it as a mixed media sketchbook with water soluable crayons, ink, drawing, gouache etc. It has 26 sheets / 52 pages and strong covers to protect pages. You can buy it also separately from Amazon. If you fold it open, you can paint 16x12" painting.
The Pleinly foldable painting stool has aluminum legs, strong fabric, 4 (+2 spare) leg paws to protect aluminum tube and to give better ground grip. The height is 16.1" / 41cm + 1.5 cm separate cushion. It has a 300lbs/ 140kg weight limit but it weights only about 1.3 lbs/650g. It has a waterproof foam cushion which can be used also separately e.g. if you sit on the rocks etc. Under the chair is a big pocket for water bottle etc. Easy to fold to very small size, but you can store it unfolded also if you have big enough backpack like Pleinly PB-70 Backpack (sold separately!)
