Introducing the VViViD candle making wax thermometer! For candles that look great, and smell heavenly, it's critical to measure the temperature of the wax at 3 stages: Firstly, at the start to make sure you're not overheating / scorching the wax. Secondly, just before adding the fragrance oil to make sure the wax is below the fragrance oil's flash-point temperature, so that the scent isn't ruined. And thirdly, just before pouring the wax, to make sure it's at the correct temperature to pour. These temperatures will vary according to the type of wax, and the type of fragrance oil you are using. Fortunately, the VViViD candle making wax thermometer measures from -50°C to +300°C Celsius, and -58°F to +572°F fahrenheit. Use the Hold button to save the temperature reading, or monitor fluctuations in temperature. The Min / Max button lets you see the highest or lowest temperature measured. With a 5.8” inch long prong, you can measure the temperature whilst keeping your fingers far away from the heat source, making it easy to use the thermometer without injury. Store the thermometer in the plastic sleeve (provided) to prevent damage in storage or transit. Enjoy your candle-making adventure, with the VViViD candle-making wax thermometer.
