“I was surrounded by glacial melt, waterfall mist, and had my tripod balanced on slick rocks. My fingers were growing numb, and I needed to focus on wiping my lens between each shot. Of the 6 traditional lens cloths I had with me, several were already too wet to use. One had been dropped on the sand picking up grit, and the remaining were either held in my hand, stashed in pockets I had to remove my gloves to reach, or had picked up tissue and pocket lint. I spent as much time fighting the tripod and lens cloths as I did taking photos. By the time I got back to the car the idea for MistDefender was born.”

MistDefender's badge and reel utilizes a 1 Meter/100CM long steel cable. This allows you to easily reach the front of a lens, even when using a 300mm+ lens, and while standing behind the tripod. MistDefender is always on hand, and can be released between uses unlike conventional lens cloths that must be held, dropped, or stashed between photos.

MistDefender utilizes a rapidly drying lens-safe microfiber lens cloth design. Each unit consists of two highly absorbent cloths joined by a heavy duty eyelet. This original design allows for doubling the utility of each cloth without needing to increase their size. A multi-layer design also reduces exposure to water, grit and hand oils.

A carabiner allows for the easy and flexible attachment and relocation of the MistDefender ensuring it's always within reach regardless of your setup. The size and clip design also allows for one-handed operation, even wearing gloves.

Purpose built for long sessions in difficult conditions, each badge connects to the interchangeable cloth by sturdy clip. This makes swapping out lens cloths on the go convenient.
