The Metal Color sets contain a selection of water based metallic colours developed to faithfully reproduce different metallic finishes such as radial or linear engines, nozzles or paneling found on most aircraft of all types and periods from WWI aircraft that combine wood, metal and textile coatings to modern fighter jets
The set consists of 4 plastic pots of 32 ml (1.08 fl.oz.) and contains the following colors: 77.701 Aluminium - 77.703 Dark Aluminium - 77.712 Steel - 77.724 Silver
Metal Color is the innovative range using aluminium pigments in their production. The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of all types and ages. With an exceptional gloss and extraordinary reflective power, it allows the modeller to carry out all painting processes without the need to use enamels and lacquers. It can be applied directly with an airbrush on the model, or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver.
Metal colors can be mixed with each other, use directly with an airbrush, or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner (B002X6DTHK). Compressor adjustment for these colors is recommended at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 a 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner (B002X6BNYQ)
