You'll need to think quickly in this Disney Edition List or Twist, the category-guessing game from Ridley's Games where the answers are only as easy as the clues—and how good the clues are is up to you!
In this fast-paced game, two teams take turns trying to guess what's on the card by listening to clues. Each time a clue is offered, players can choose “List” to request another clue or “Twist” and guess the answer. But watch out: if you ask for too many clues or guess incorrectly, you lose points.
Next, it's time to put your knowledge to the ultimate test as players go head-to-head in the bonus rounds! First up: list as many characters, objects, or movies in the category on the card. Then it's time for the twist, where you'll need to listen closely to be the first to spot the odd one out.
Perfect for Disney and Pixar fans and fun for the whole family. With categories ranging from Heroes to Sidekicks and Villains & Henchman to Objects, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Suitable for ages 8+, 4 to 10 players, and has an average 30-minute gameplay.
How to Play:
Players split into two teams, and each nominates a lead player for the round. The teams then take turns trying to guess what's listed on the category card by listening to the clues made up by the lead player. Each time a clue is offered, the guessing team can choose “List” to request another clue or “Twist” and guess the answer. For each clue given, your team loses a point (you start with 10, don't worry!), and if you guess incorrectly, you lose another point. Here's an example:
“The category is Animals, and the first clue is Shere Khan.”
“List!”
“Scar. 9 points.”
“Big cats?”
“No. 8 points.”
“List!”
“Bellwether. 7 points.”
“Oh! Animal bad guys!”
“Correct! It's animal villains! You win 7 points!”
“Quick! Next card, next card!”
You have 60 seconds to get through as many cards as you can (keeping score as you go), and then it's time to switch things up and play off against each other in the two bonus rounds. In the List Bonus round, players from each team go head-to-head, trying to name as many characters, objects, or movies in the category on the card as possible. The player who lists the most wins five bonus points for their team.
Next, you'll need to listen closely in the Twist Bonus round to be the first to spot the odd one out. The first player to identify the “twist” wins five bonus points for their team.
At the end of three standard and two bonus rounds, the team with the highest score wins!
