More than one hundred years ago, Charlie Chaplin debuted his on-screen alter ego, the Little Tramp.
The quintessential optimistic underdog was born in the silent movie Kid Auto Races at Venice. Once he dressed himself in baggy trousers, tight coat, and brushy-twitchy moustache, one of cinema's most enduring characters came to life; according to Chaplin, "but the clothes and the makeup made me feel the person he was."
The spirit of Chaplin's Little Tramp lives on in our plush, cuddly Little Thinker â - and he's just as silent as ever!
