Ttakji Chigi (딱지치기) Game Rules
Ttakji Chigi is a traditional Korean game where players try to flip their opponent's folded paper tile (ttakji) by striking it with their own. Here are the basic rules:
1. Players & Equipment The game is played by two or more players. Each player needs a ttakji, which is a folded paper tile.
2. How to Play Decide the Turn Order
Players decide who goes first, usually by playing rock-paper-scissors. Placing the Ttakji
One player places their ttakji flat on the ground. Striking the Ttakji
The other player throws or slaps their own ttakji onto the opponent's, trying to flip it over. The player can use different techniques, like flicking or slamming, to generate more force. Winning the Round
If a player successfully flips the opponent's ttakji, they win the round and may take the opponent's ttakji as a prize. If the ttakji does not flip, the turn passes to the next player.
3. Winning the Game The game continues until one player wins a set number of rounds or collects the most ttakjis. In some variations, the player who loses all their ttakjis is eliminated. It's a simple yet exciting game that requires both skill and strategy!
- Do not use the ttakji for any purpose other than playing the game.
- Keep Away From Fire.
