SVBONY SV260 multi-bandpass filter is a 5-bandpass broadband pass light pollution filter. Equipped with OD4 cut-off depth and over 90% peak transmittance, the filter is designed to isolate 6-level light pollution and make light wave transmission maximum to enhance deep-sky details and improve the visibility of deep-sky objects. OD4 cut-off depth filters out the unnecessary light produced by artificial lighting including mercury vapor lamps, both high & low-pressure sodium vapor lights, and the unwanted natural light caused by neutral oxygen emission in our atmosphere (i.e. skyglow). More than 90% peak transmittance reduces the light loss and delivers images of broadband-emitting objects, such as galaxies, reflection nebulae, and globular clusters, with minimal color cast. The SV260 filter effectively brings you a better shooting experience when starfield shooting and deep-sky photography. SVBONY 2‘' dual narrowband H-Alpha/O-III 7nm narrowband filters are specially designed for astrophotography in light-polluted environments, allowing imaging under bright artificial light pollution and moonlight conditions to capture color images without using multiple filter combinations. Images are most useful with single-use color cameras; can be used for imaging emission nebulae, planetary nebulae, and supernova remnants; high transmittance and sharp cutoff can greatly enhance contrast, showing the most detailed information about deep sky objects; designed to drastically cut off sodium Artificial light interference from vapor or mercury vapor street lights and other unwanted interference (e.g. sky glow); Dual Band Narrow Band Filters are not suitable for visual observation and are not designed for imaging or observing the sun. Please note that the SV220 is not well suited for fast telescopes, some users have reported that dual-band OSC filters paired with RASA can cause band shifts, thus clipping HA data.
