Special Features

  • Adapter cap: Slide the end of a fiber into the adapter cap until the fiber stops. To install an optional adapter cap, unscrew the installed cap; then screw on the optional cap.
  • Illumination port: Insert the opposite end of the fiber into the port to light up the fiber core. Lighting the core can improve the visibility of certain flaws.
  • Eyepiece and light switch: Hold down the light switch while looking into the eyepiece.
  • Focusing dial: Turn the dial until the image is clear.
