Repair Process: Fixing the issue involves disassembling the radio to access the PCB, desoldering the old jack, and soldering in a new PJ-019 jack. This restores the functionality.
Spring-Contact: A spring-action electrical contact within the PJ-019 jack switches power sources. When the 12V plug is absent, the contact closes to enable battery power.
