ADAPT FOR DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES: The ATTACHE BAR can be used to make the carabiner directional, optimizing it for certain belaying applications or glacier trave
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: The new ATTACHE combines an H-shaped cross section and round stock basket that perfectly balances friction, handling, and weight savings
SCREW-LOCK: Easy-to-open system. Suitable for harsh environments where dirt, mud, or ice could cause an automatic locking system to jam. Red band provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked.
ERGONOMIC: H-shaped cross-section contributes to better grip when wearing gloves. Keylock system, to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner.
Description
Cross-loading carabiners are a thing of the past with the PETZL ATTACHE BAR. When used with the removable BAR, the pear-shaped ATTACHE carabiner is a versatile tool. It becomes a unidirectional carabiner, oriented to load the major axis and maximizing ease of use when belaying or using ropes for glacier travel. It has an H-frame to keep the weight low and the round-stock basket creates a smooth surface for the rope to run over, for easier belaying with the VERSO, REVERSO or a Munter hitch.
