Note:

The battery should not be connected in reverse as it can easily damage the main board.

The voltage at the battery terminals should not exceed the product's overshoot voltage.

Batteries cannot be connected in series but only in parallel. Several batteries can be connected in parallel, though it's not advisable to have too many.
