  • PERFORMANCE: Specified hardware for 867 Mbps on 5 GHz (.11ac) | 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (.11n) | Total 1167 Mbps throughput | Unit has one gigabit 100/1000 uplink connection | Recommended for 50 active devices
  • POWERING: Given its outdoor location, it is recommended to use Power over Ethernet (PoE) 802.1af Class 2 to power the Instant On AP17. This model (R2X10A) provides only the unit, no power source included. Separately you must provide Power over Ethernet from a PoE switch or a PoE injector
  • Delivers Class 3 PoE power over Ethernet cabling. Complies with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard supplying up to 15.4W out of the injector
  • The Ethernet cable goes from the non-PoE switch into the Injector. A separate Ethernet cable goes with PoE from the Injector to the broader network. Typically, the Injector is placed next to the switch. Power is delivered to the Injector from a cord (ordered separately) plugged into a local outlet
