If the working power of your 12V device ≤ 36W (The max output of the 12V USB-C to socket cable is 12V3A/36W), but the 12V output gear of your PD power supply is smaller than your 12V device. Then you Need to replace a larger power PD power supply to avoid insufficient input power.
