Please note that this plate is not compatible with the G3 with newer factory steel sights or the Taurus new TX22C (TX22 Compact), which is optics-ready. For the G3C, please search "ADE G3C/GLOCK PLATE" on Amazon. Additionally, the ADE RD3-018 SPIKE, RD3-021 NUWA (and NUWA PRO), and RD3-030 Apollo are suitable options for direct fitting without any plate or adapter required.
The ADE RD3-012 has several upgrades to enhance its functionality and user experience. The rear locking screws have been replaced with a self-locking mechanism, offering greater reliability and ease of use. Additionally, the new motion-activated technology puts the red dot illumination into sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity, and it instantly reactivates at the previous brightness setting when any motion or vibration is detected, providing seamless operation and better battery efficienc
The red dot boasts a 6 MOA dot size, with dimensions measuring 1.75 inches in length, 1.25 inches in width, and 1.15 inches in height. It offers fully windage and elevation adjustable features, which can be locked securely into place. Providing unlimited eye relief, this device is constructed entirely from metal with a glass lens, ensuring durability and reliability without any plastic components in its body or lens.
Included with the red dot are a protective cover, screws, wrenches, and instructions for easy installation and use. Additionally, a lens cloth and anti-flickering shim are provided to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of the device.
Installation of the optic plate onto the handgun involves removing the rear sight and disassembling the pistol slide to access the screw hole underneath. This process requires gunsmithing experience, and we strongly recommend hiring a professional gunsmith for installation. Improper installation, including incorrect torque application, may lead to loose screws, loss of zero retention, firearm or optic damage, and potential personal injury.
