Special Features

  • Supporting Auto-MDI/MDIX..10G base-T RJ-45 UTP port will autoadapt (autosense) to 1000Base-T, 2.5G Base-T, 5G Base-T and 10G Base-T connection at user side, but fiber port – slot accepts only 10G SFP+ (10 Gigabit) SFP+ transceivers only.

The Cisco SFP-10G-T-S is a copper module equipped with RJ45 connectors that is compatible with Cat6a/Cat7 Ethernet copper cables and transmits 30m at 10GBASE-T data rates.
In addition, the 10 Gbps SFP RJ45 module is backward compatible with 1GBASE-T, and intermediate rate 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, providing multi-gigabit Ethernet deployment.
10GBASE-T SFP+ module is compliant with IEEE 802.3an, IEEE 802.3az, and SFP+ MSA. The 10G RJ45 module uses the electrical signal to transmit data, allowing an upgrade to 10G by reusing existing copper cabling.
