and 15N20 giving approximately 288 layers in this Awesome Raindrop Damascus pattern. The Key to sharpness of blade is their blending in a reducing
atmosphere in an oxygen lacking furnace. This is the prime reason behind Damascus Steel Knives tending to stay sharper for the longest period of time.
Our Damascus steel is given an excellent heat treatment of 56-58 HRC on a Rockwell Scale.
