Enlarged Hot Shoe Space: The new version of the cage enlarges the space around the camera hot shoe, and now you can use the cage together with the Microphone ECM-W2BT for Sony, Flash HVL-F32M or other accessories that require the use of the hot shoe on the top of the camera.
Enlarged Battery Compartment Space: The space for the battery compartment at the bottom of the cage is enlarged, making it easier for you to change memory cards. The cage does not interfere with the use of buttons, card slots, battery compartments, and flip screens. There is a slot in the battery compartment to place the dummy battery cable. When using the dummy battery, the camera can also be placed flat on the table.
Multiple Mounting Options: The cage has built-in multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 positioning holes for ARRI, which can be used with the Top Handle 1638, 1446, 1984 and 2165 for low-angle shooting; it can also be installed with a Power Bank Clip BUB2336 to fix the power bank near the camera for continuous power supply. There is a built-in cold shoe on the top and bottom of the cage, which can expand the Microphone 3468 and LED Video Light 3286 for a complete vlogging solution.
Widely Compatibility: SmallRig NP-F battery adapter plate 3168B is designed to enable NP-F batteries on the market, such as NP-F970, NP-F550, NP-F770, etc.(including original batteries for Sony and third-party batteries). It can provide a better power solution for BMPCC 4K, 6K, 6K Pro, for Canon R5 C and for various mirrorless cameras. Self-locking button for quick and secure battery installation and a 1/4''-20 threaded hole for easy attachment to the cage or handle.
Dual DC Outputs: The NP-F battery adapter plate comes with DC 7.4V and 12V output, compatible with DC 5521 and DC 5525 cable and dummy battery, Maximum DC output power up to 22W and 36W, meets multiple devices needs. Note: DC7.4V output power will decrease as the battery power decreases.
