FROM THE HIMALAYAS: Strips from the inner Lokta bark are cooked into a fibrous pulp and then spread by hand across boxed screens and set to dry in the Himalayan sunshine, the fibers join, forming the one-of-a-kind Lokta paper.
UNIQUE EDGE: Deckle-edge (rough-edge) card stock, great for use in crafts, handmade wedding or party invitations, vintage printing projects, or scrapbooking, the pages contain natural flecks from the lokta bark and a light “screened” texture on the side used to make the paper and the other, a naturally rougher texture.
EARTH FRIENDLY: Lokta bushes quickly regrow after being cut, making Lokta bushes a renewable resource. A one-of-a-kind alternative to traditional card stock papers for the eco-conscious adventurer.
