Compatibility: The C-clamp is compatible with desks or shelves with straight edges. Before purchasing, check the underside of your desk or shelf to ensure enough space for a C-clamp to be attached. The top, side, and bottom of the desk or shelf must be flat with a depth of at least 2 inches and a thickness that falls between .3 inches and 2 inches (see image).
