Exceptionally resilient and durable, our watercolor paper will not warp or cockle even when saturated with large volumes of water
Made on a traditional cylinder mold. This ensures the fibers are interwoven, which gives the paper far greater strength and dimensional stability
Fibers are internally and externally sized, allowing it to withstand the roughest of techniques. Colors remain brilliant and intense
Cold pressed paper has a less textured finish and produces the brightest paintings. Its increased surface area holds more color and rejects more light
Our professional paper is constructed with 100Percent cotton with pure spring water. 15 sheets per pad
وصف
Our water colour papers are made on a traditional cylinder mould at a paper mill in France, following a practice that dates back to the 19th century. A slowly rotating cylinder mould picks up the 100% cellulose wood pulp and puts it onto a continuously moving woolen felt. This ensures the fibers are dispersed randomly and are interwoven. As these fibers lock together, they give the paper far greater strength and dimensional stability, minimizing warping or cockling when water is absorbed by the paper. Our classic paper is made with the finest cellulose wood pulp. This makes it a more affordable yet still exceptionally high-quality alternative to 100% cotton. As part of ensuring this quality, we conduct sophisticated testing and monitoring. Every sheet is individually inspected to assure the finest quality.
