The F-117 was a Single seat, twin engine attack aircraft that incorporated stealth technology. This aircraft was used in combat for the first time in Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The F-117 was retired in April of 2008 with the introduction of the F-22 and the planned production of the F-35.
