Material : Brass Color : Commando Antique Finish High Quality Astrolabe Hand Tooled Handcrafted Available In 8" Size. It Has Unique Design. Great Wall-Hanging Arabic Navigational Astronomical Astrolabe In Antiquated Brass. Each Plate Is Totally Hand Engraved With Beautiful Arabic Calligraphy . Very Heavy Brass Construction Antique Finish Astrolabe Comes With Five Panels That Are Easily Removable. This Piece Is Easily Displayed By Hanging It From Its Top Loop. It Is Approximately 8" Tall With Hook. Each Plate Is About 4" Wide. It Is Made From Brass And Is Fairly Heavy. This Is A Replica Item, Made To Look Like An Antique. Some Minor Imperfections Are Likely. An Astrolabe Can Only Measure Angles In A Vertical Plane And Was Principally Used For Latitude-Finding, Although You Can Also Use It For Purposes Such As Finding The Height Of Something.
