OPEN FLOW - the open flow option is for use with hand-operated tire inflator tools, portable 12v tire pumps, or tire gauges. Air will flow freely through the chuck, even if the chuck is NOT engaged with the tire valve stem (not for direct connection to air compressor line).
CLOSED FLOW - the closed flow option features an internal check valve that will NOT let air pass through the tire chuck unless it is engaged with a tire valve stem. Closed flow is for direct connection to air compressor line or standard tire gauges - NOT for use with hand-operated tire inflator tools or 12v tire pumps.
BUILT TO LAST - engineered with rugged steel and features an ergonomic thumb plate that allows you to effortlessly push the tire chuck onto the tire valve stem for an airtight seal every time (this tire chuck does NOT lock-on).
COMPATIBILITY - the female connection threads on the angled tire chuck are 1/4 inch NPT (industry standard) - so the air chuck will easily connect to most standard air compressor fittings, air hoses, and air tools.
