  • This listing is for 4 Stainless Steel D-rings featuring a strong 5,000 lb. rating (straight pull). WLL is 1,667 lb. capacity* (see below for explanation).
  • The material is 304SS (cold working stainless steel) per JIS G 4305:2012. There may be a slightly stronger magnetic reaction on the surface or close to the stamping edge, typically observed in cold working parts. Designed to withstand harsh environmental elements. They are ideal for outdoor use, especially in a marine setting. These d-rings will never rust. Don't be fooled if over time there are brown surface spots, this is generally caused by atmospheric iron.
  • *RATED CAPACITY: Also known as "assembly capacity" or "break strength" is the minimum load a complete assembly can withstand before failure in a laboratory pull test when the product is new. WORKING LOAD LIMIT: The maximum load weight a tie-down should be subjected to during normal use. To assist in making the proper tie-down choice the Federal D.O.T. requires the W.L.L. to be 1/3 of the Rated Capacity.
  • The 3/8 diameter ring measures 2-1/4 wide x 2-1/4 long on center. The TOP CAP is 1/8 thick. It measures 1-3/16 wide x 3-1/4 long, with 3/8 holes on 2-5/16" center. (See schematic in second image). To get a comparison feel for the size of the d-ring in relation to other d-rings please see the third image provided.
  • Hardware required for installation - 3/8" carriage bolts, washers and locking nuts. Stainless Steel hardware would be ideal creating an attachment that is 100% rust and corrosion resistant. Bolt length determined by application.
