Danburite has a crystalline mineral similar to topaz with a high refractive index that makes it very sparkly.. Danburite is generally colorless, but can sometimes have a yellow, brown or even pink hue. Danburite is named for their first discovery in 1839 in Danbury, Connecticut. The deposits in Danbury are inaccessible today, leaving Mexico as the top source for Danburite crystals, though they can also be found in Japan and Madagascar.

Each Danburite Crystal is naturally unique and will differ slightly in shape and color, however each pendant will appear similar to the display images and all crystals are high quality. The transparent clear crystals we use for this pendants are the most rare form of danburite. Approximate length is 1.75 inches long including bale.
